Summary: St Michael’s Square, opened in 2024, is a sustainable development offering 240 homes across two towers, with 55% designated as affordable housing. The project includes landscaped areas and five new commercial units alongside refurbished existing shops. Designed with durable materials and high-quality finishes, the towers emphasise cycling infrastructure, providing over 350 long-stay cycle spaces and only 65 car parking spaces, aiming for a mostly car-free environment. The design connects the low-rise residential areas and larger commercial buildings nearby, creating a cohesive but distinctive community.
